Sessions with Lotis

Lotis (ex – Lotis Tyr) is a Berlin-based artist, musician and intuitive guide who grew up in various countries. She studied literature and media studies with a focus on film, electronic media, and perception. After completing her studies, she turned to practical work, joined the film industry, and received support from the Cultural Film Funding of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for her first screenplay. At the same time, she began producing digital music.

In her art, Lotis combines various media to make the imperceptible visible. Her works include soundtracked 3D animations, digital still images, and electronic music. She feels deeply connected to the web-like structures of the internet and sees a spiritual dimension within them. 

Despite her enthusiasm for technology, nature and spirituality remain her primary sources of inspiration. In her works, she creates immersive, multisensory experiences intended to encourage recipients to engage in expanded perception and self-reflection. For Lotis, art is a means of expanding consciousness and creating a deeper connection between the digital and natural worlds.

Her new program is a unique hybrid of live performance, DJ set, and digital visual installation that makes the interweaving of nature and technology tangible.
